Free Summer Music Festivals You Won’t Want to Miss!

Tulsa and its surrounding areas are just brimming with outdoor concerts and summer activities! No matter what type of music you prefer, you will find it FREE all summer long! Take in the scenery, bring a picnic, or enjoy a host of food and beverage options offered. Here are just a few from which to choose:

Hawaiian Dreams on the Green, an Urban Luau  

When: Saturday, July 28, 7:30 – 10:00 PM

Where: Guthrie Green, 111 E. MB Brady Street, Tulsa

Prepare your Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts for the second annual Hawaiian Dreams on the Green, an Urban Luau presented by Guthrie Green. This family-friendly event is back by popular demand! 

Netane, a renowned signature entertainment company from Orlando Florida’s Universal Studios, will provide a world-class show featuring the soothing and relaxing sounds of the Polynesian. Singer-songwriter Analea Brown will perform as well, bringing signature island and reggae vibes to the Green. 

Bring your appetite because Mr. Nice Guys will offer signature food and drinks luau-themed for the event. Additional food trucks including Zen Ice Hawaiian Snow Cones, Pineapple Whip and Andolini’s will also be on site with tropically themed offerings to curb all your island cravings. 

As an added surprise, all guests have a chance to win two flight vouchers to Hawaii courtesy of Guthrie Green. No purchase necessary for entry and the winner must be present during the announcement to claim the prize. 


27th Annual Summer’s Fifth Night Concert Series

When: Thursdays through Aug. 30, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Where: Utica Square

This free concert series continues all summer with an eclectic mix of musical acts from Tulsa and the surrounding region. Genres of music include country, rock, jazz and blues.

Pack a picnic or dine at one of Tulsa’s great restaurants near-by. Put on your dancing shoes, catch up with family and friends and win great prizes like Utica Square gift certificates and merchandise from Utica Square merchants.

Guthrie Green Sunday Concert Series

When: Every Sunday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM through Oct 7

Where: Guthrie Green, 111 E. MB Brady Street, Tulsa

Guthrie Green, along with other series Presenters, welcome you to the park every Sunday this season for free live music. Grab those blankets, chairs, family, and friends to enjoy a beautiful day at Guthrie Green!


Guthrie Green Food Truck Wednesday

When: Every Wednesday, 11:30 PM – 1:30 PM through Oct 3

Where: Guthrie Green, 111 E. MB Brady Street, Tulsa

Chow down at Guthrie Green every Wednesday for lunch! Live music, amazing food trucks, and fresh air – what could be better? Join us every Wednesday between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm for a break from the office or a fun outing with the family!


Tulsa Pearl Fest: 6th Street Shutdown

When: Sat Sept 15, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Where: BlackBird, 1336 E. 6th St, Tulsa

Please join in this first annual neighborhood event for music, art, boxing, food, drinks, dancers, lights, vendors and community.

For you night owls, stay for the special event, Neon Dreams, beginning at 6:00 PM and lasting until 2:00 AM.  Neon Dreams is a fully immersive experience in an ultraviolet wonderland that will stimulate all of your senses with unique and interactive art and attractions.


Summer Concert Series – RiverWalk Crossing

When: various times and dates

Where: 300 Riverwalk Terrace, Jenks

Free Tulsa outdoor concerts are held throughout the summer at the amphitheater at RiverWalk Crossing in Jenks. Seating is available within the amphitheater as well as on the lawn, so plan to come early or bring a lawn chair. The music is appropriate for the entire family, who will enjoy listening to music along the banks of the Arkansas River.
